I plan to continue on with my daily actions throughout the year, and take the knowledge I've learned from "one-time actions" and teach others about them!

It's been years since I've been to Muir Woods.  I can't wait to see the redwood trees and hike some of the trails.

Before heading home the other day, I decided to walk around the garden at Salesforce Tower and so glad I took some time out for me!

How does practicing a work-life balance create a more sustainable life for you? How might it contribute to sustainability more broadly?

Since I've been working from home, I find my work days are longer.  After I log off now, I leave the house to take a walk.  It's my mental break before I have to start dinner and do other things.  It's important for all of us to take care of ourselves.

Reducing waste is important to do
Every day this can be done by both me and you
Come and recycle with just a few cans
You can do it, make it a part of your plans
Caring for Mother Earth is so important indeed
Local, globally, internationally there is always a need
Every little action makes a big difference!

This month has felt extra busy. Although I have many 'actions' on 'autopilot', i.e., they are deliberate parts of my lifestyle, I have had little room and time to explore new things. It has emphasized to me how important it is to have things baked into one's day-to-day life.

What plastic or single-use items do you regularly use? What did you substitute or could be substituted?

Shampoo and conditioner bottles. I have placed my first order to a bar shampoo. I see so many people sponsoring this, I hope it was not just about the paycheck. Super excited to give this a try.
