It's the 30th of April 2022, marking the end date of the ecochallenge.  The challenge does not have to end here, but let's strive further to promote sustainability..  "Save the planet, it's the only one we have"

The training afforded me a deeper insight into the SDG's, its synergies and how I could best do my part to contribute to this effort. Concept on biodiversity is new to me, and I plan to dig more on this.

Creating a readiness plan takes a lot of consideration on the event to be prepared for, the necessary resources be it on material, physical or emotional aspects and also, the workaround should there be another turn of events. List of contacts, institutions, or emergency numbers should also be made available in case needed. 

Had started a hobby of having pots of ornamental and herbal plants in my frontyard and making use of organic fertilizers instead of synthetic. This was just initially a diversion from the boredom brought by the pandemic lockdown, but it later turned the space into a relaxing greeneries.

SDG's 13, 14 and 15 are synergies that prioritizes more on climate regulation, freshwater, food and biodiversity.

SDG's 1, 2 and 6 are all related to essential material needs and environmental conditions.

We need to ensure that there will be a safe and healthy food and water sources for our future generations

In our community, there is no gender barrier. However, there are still some people who still have a mindset that women should stay at home and do household chores, and men should work. Yes, I experience this but not at work.
