NORMA TOLANG 4/30/2022 8:23 AMThe training afforded me a deeper insight into the SDG's, its synergies and how I could best do my part to contribute to this effort. Concept on biodiversity is new to me, and I plan to dig more on this. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEconomy & Communities Create A Readiness PlanWhat was it like to create a readiness plan? Did you find other resources you could share?
NORMA TOLANG 4/30/2022 8:18 AMCreating a readiness plan takes a lot of consideration on the event to be prepared for, the necessary resources be it on material, physical or emotional aspects and also, the workaround should there be another turn of events. List of contacts, institutions, or emergency numbers should also be made available in case needed. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & Ecosystems Ecological & Xeriscape GardeningWhat ecological or xeriscape landscaping practices do you have? How has your landscape changed from these practices?
NORMA TOLANG 4/30/2022 7:36 AMHad started a hobby of having pots of ornamental and herbal plants in my frontyard and making use of organic fertilizers instead of synthetic. REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & Ecosystems Calculate Your Carbon ImpactWhat is one way you will reduce your carbon foorprint? What is a practice you already have that helps you reduce your carbon footprint?
NORMA TOLANG 4/29/2022 4:23 AMIn my small way of recycling items and waste reduction at home, I can reduce my carbon footprint.
Recycling, reusing and even sharing old clothings, books and home furnitures helps reduce the energy resources in creating new items. -
