So, instead of spraying the grass with pesticides (for the fire flies) I will try planting more of this around the yard. I already have Mint and Cat Nip!

I didn't know this about Fire Flies. We use to have so many.. :(

I have been really happy to see more and more homes replacing part or most of their lawns with gardens. Here is a link to a fascinating study that shows a lack of data is a big issue with determining how healthy firefly populations are!
Evaluating firefly extinction risk: Initial red list assessments for North America
      https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8598072/

"We found at least 18 species (14%) are threatened with extinction (e.g. categorized as Critically Endangered, Endangered, or Vulnerable) due to various pressures, including habitat loss, light pollution, and climate change (sea level rise and drought). In addition, more than half of the species (53%) could not be evaluated against the assessment criteria due to insufficient data, highlighting the need for further study."

I had no idea that so few invertebrates and insects had been assessed for their conservation status!
"Currently, the Red List comprehensively covers charismatic vertebrates, including mammals (91% of all species assessed) and birds (100% of species assessed) [3]. Invertebrates, in contrast, are profoundly underrepresented on the Red List, with just 2% of described species (24,219 out of an estimated 1,478,938) assessed as of 2020 [3]. This gap is even wider for insects: although they represent an estimated 53% of described animal and plant species, only 1% have been assessed [3]."

After learning more about investing, how can you increase positive impacts and decrease negative impacts?

Stop underestimating the value and importance of time. The markets have proven resilient over the long term.  Historically returns have been generally positive over multi-year periods. By staying invested, you may give your assets the chance to rebound in the wake of downturns.
And as difficult as it may seem.. staying true to a personalized, long-term financial plan can help you achieve your objectives. I have to trust my financial advisor.  (Lucky for me I married her!)

Need babies?  Mine are full.  I will use some of them in my outside planters once the weather warms up.  I actually take cuttings off most of my indoor plants and use them outside.  They don't flower but they add texture and color to the planters.
