Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.

My goals related to everyday actions are going well. My goals to learn about the macro & micro systems that my choices impact is not going as well. Finding the time has been challenging. However that this month is all about; to challenge ourselves and to create new habits.

I identify with today's comment from Kathleen Kelly: it's cool to see a small contribution add up over time across a small team of folks!

I love the change in behavior that I've been making and seeing my colleagues commit to make. It might seem on the surface to be a very small contribution, but it really does all add up to making a difference. Love this team and their contributions to protect our environment.

Health & Equity Spend Time Outside
What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time inside and on screens?

Scary. IMHO.  Connecting with the Earth and all it's splendor is a wonderful way to be reminded of the beauty of this incredible world.  With the rain/snow we've had in MSP it can be a challenge but in the coming days/weeks, the world will re-emerge to a Springtime of splendor. It is so important for us to care for and treasure this planet and the life we have. Afterall, we've one life to lead. If we do it right, once is enough (to quote a dear friend who has left this Earth).
