    I don't consider myself "skilled" at mending, but I do know how to sew enough to patch small holes (inconspicuously if they're on a seam), reattach buttons, etc.  My only tip is to try to find thread that matches your garment so your handiwork isn't too visible!

    I've received a LOT of seeds in the last year, so I started my own indoor garden, including (but not limited to) forget-me-nots, tomatoes, and strawberries.

    Caring for the most vulnerable among us helps everyone, including the environment.  A rising tide lifts all boats.

    I was most taken aback by the forced sterilization of institutionalized Black and Brown women that apparently still continues today.  Policymakers, a group in which women are shamefully underrepresented, have too much say over what happens to women's bodies; they should have none at all.
