    Introduced a friend to the z in y Recycle hub! (took several plastic plant containers& etc!)- thought about this past month and how I’ve tried to excite others about recycling

    Today is the last day.  Everyday can be an ecochallenge going forward.  I appreciate the resources offered, the encouragement, the collective action.  I'd like to figure out how to localize this in my neighborhood.  We have a monthly newsletter and a listserve so I will start there.

    We can't have a sustainable future for some.  We're all interconnected; we all impact climate catastrophe and biodiversity loss and each other.  The "haves" consume more and emit more than the "have nots."  There will be endless conflict and migration unless everyone has food access and general security.

    I walked to the post office& bank, picked up garbage& recyclable things… 3 people thanked me!!

    I'd like to find a way to get the water out of the faucet to heat faster so that I can reduce the amount of water that runs while I wait. Also, I want to purchase a rain barrel to collect water to use for my garden.

    Great resources.  Native people traditionally have a strong connection with and understanding of Mother Earth, that we are all part of this family.     The Food for All program distributes food to counties in Southwest, OH.  When I load up a person's car, they are always so grateful for our service.  It makes me realize how blessed and privileged I am with my food security.  Next, I would like to volunteer somewhere using my teaching skills.

    Start a neighborhood compost pile.  Have a battery, Christmas lights, and light bulb drop off in the neighborhood community space.

    It's always good to join with others -spending the day at the Earth Day event at Summit Park and conversing with lots of people about environmental issues including rights of nature.
