Art allows us to express our thoughts while encouraging others to experience those expressions their own way. There are no hard rules and this freedom is an incubator for new ideas,

Poetry doesn't have to be challenging at all. Try using 6 words: Gifted tomatoes make friends of neighbors. #sixwordstory

I'm looking at making a couple of bug hotels for the pollinators and found so many cute ones on Pinterest! But I also want good science and did more reading. In addition to doing a lot more planting of herbs and flowers this year, I will create natural and supplemental environments that really benefit insects. Here's a good article on creating a truly helpful, not harmful, bug hotel:

Don't forget to include your pets in the plan. Keep extra leashes, collar, carriers, etc., with emergency kit.

I used a number of good resources plus common sense. Having previously lived in a 3 story Victorian house with 3 young children, 2 dogs, and 1 cat, we thought quite a bit about the subject. Did the essential safety stuff, such as smoke detectors and fire extinguishers. We then asked "what do we need in the event we need to escape from the house?", and it went from there. I will post some resources to the group in the next day or so.

We often say "think globally, act locally", but isn't it all the same in some ways? Our local actions can have a global impact.
