Earth Month in the Heights

We signed up 55 events/activities to take place throughout Earth Month.

The Heights community is invited to join Friends of Heights Parks for a educational and inspirational walk at Lower Shaker Lakes

Bring your own gloves and used shopping bags. Full bags will be collected in large trash bags to reduce waste This is a neglected green space that needs a lot of help Meeting point will be at the Schoolhouse parking lot

We’ll focus on the health of our mind and bodies as we alternate, from a brisk walk to taking nature breaks with a naturalist along the way. Prepare for dirt trails and to hike for about 3.5 miles. Cleveland Heights PTA Garden Committee will spruce up the school's garden beds! Tasks include: shoveling dirt, using a wheelbarrow, moving cinder blocks, and hammering in rebar

This is a community forum where the residents can express what they consider our community's environmental priorities. This will be the first of many forums on the subject with the objective of define what matters most to our residents and develop a collective plan of action.

The Heights Sustainability Fair is a collaborative brainstorming event, where residents are invited to imagine what a greener and healthier Cleveland Heights can look like and to generate solutions in a fun, creative environment.

Partnering with several local organizations and neighborhood groups to clean up parks, neighborhoods, schools, streams, and storm water grates.

The Heights Tree people will be taking requests for trees to be planted in their yard in Cleveland Heights and University Heights
