Eleonora Vinteler 4/30/2022 7:47 AMI actually did not realise, before this challenges, how l stopped spending time outside and stopped being aware of the present moment, so I re-learned to spend time outdoors and to be mindful of the present. Also, I realised how toxic some of the cleaning products can be, so I am going to take action and pay more attention to what I buy. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEducation & Livelihood Take Emerson’s Sustainability TrainingWhat did you think of the training? What new concepts did you learn?
Eleonora Vinteler 4/28/2022 6:35 AMThe training is a very good starting point. Then it is up to us to put into practice all the knowledge acquired. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEconomy & Communities Meatless Friday/ 15'th of AprilWhy do you think it is important to eat less meat?
-
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & Equity Learn About Gender DiversityWhy is equity for gender diverse individuals important for a just and sustainable society?
Eleonora Vinteler 4/28/2022 6:32 AMBecause we are not defined by these false categories, socially constructed or biologically determined. Because choice and freewill are fundamental human rights. -
Eleonora Vinteler 4/26/2022 12:54 AMJust landed in Zurich and the airport is...surrounded by forests, so from the get-go I felt nature has its very important place in the lives of people here. It made me think about the respect we owe it. -
Eleonora Vinteler 4/10/2022 11:36 PMI spent a lot of time outdoors last week, I actually took the half an hour out every day very seriously, and it was amazing. I know it sounds silly, but I think that being outside, and also being aware of it, works miracles. Strongly recommend it ;) -
REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & Ecosystems Calculate Your Carbon ImpactWhat is one way you will reduce your carbon foorprint? What is a practice you already have that helps you reduce your carbon footprint?
Eleonora Vinteler 4/05/2022 6:56 AMIf everyone lived like you, we would need3.8 Earths

REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & Equity Cleaning Product IngredientsWhat was surprising about the ingredients in your cleaning supplies, personal care, and pet products?
Eleonora Vinteler 4/05/2022 6:50 AMDid you know that this is one of the most common ingredient in our shampoos, soaps, etc.?!
Read more here: https://davidsuzuki.org/queen-of-green/dirty-dozen-sodium-laureth-sulfate/

REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & Equity Spend Time OutsideWhat are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time inside and on screens?
Eleonora Vinteler 4/04/2022 2:03 AMIf you work in front of a screen, make sure you take a break and look away at least every 30 minutes.Stand up, stretch and move around. When you’re in your chair, back and neck stretches can help keep muscles loose.Learn a few “chair yoga” moves and practice them for five minutes at frequent intervals throughout the day. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONBasic Needs & Security Practice A Sharing EconomyWhat benefits does the sharing economy offer to you and others? If you are a little shy to try, what could be a first step for you?
Eleonora Vinteler 4/04/2022 2:02 AMThe sharing economy is an extremely interesting subject, but also timely: with what is going on at our borders, and the generosity some of us displayed, maybe there is room for reflection :)
