I saw this garden on the grounds of the Boys and Girls Club right next to the playground. I could tell that it's very well taken care of.😊

Education & Livelihood Research Impact Investing
After learning more about investing, how can you increase positive impacts and decrease negative impacts?

    Sha Price's avatar
    Sha Price 4/29/2022 9:20 PM
By doing my research I can avoid investing in companies that are considered "problematic" by advisors. Companies involved in industries such as firearms, tobacco, alcohol, or fossil fuels can be considered to have negative impacts.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Climate & Ecosystems Support Local Pollinators
Why is it important to take care of pollinators? Do you have a favorite pollinator?

It is important to take care of pollinators for reasons such as  they clean chemicals and smog out of the air so that we don’t breathe it in, the   suck up toxins and pollutants from storm water and they provide natural views that are physiologically soothing. One of my favorite pollinators is the California poppy. The orange is so vibrant and pretty!

I had a very nice walk this morning before I spent the day with my mom. Although I see her often, It's been a long time since we've spent the day together outside. No matter how old I get I will always value being a "child" to my mother 😊

I spent the earlier part of the day inside and enjoyed but when I finally went outside I realized I enjoyed that more, despite the really big spider that I saw.
