If things are still working, why do you need to throw them right away and buy a new one? Impulsive buying produces lots of packaging, which is the main contributor to carbon emission. If those old shoes need repair, sew them or get them repaired in a shoe repair shop. It will reduce waste, and it will save money. You can also give unused clothing to charity, reuse gift wrappers for decorations, and jars for food containers. Think wisely before buying a new one.

It is our collective responsibility to raise public responsibility regarding the well-being of our mother earth.

Recycling is such a simple thing to do, but so many people don’t do it. Look for recycling cans near trashcans. Instead of throwing recyclables in the trash with your non-recyclables, make a point to take an extra step to locate recycling cans around your campus. Always separate biodegradable and non-biodegradable wastes.

The single most serious threat to our world now is climate change. To avoid catastrophic harm, we must reduce carbon emissions. And, with global energy demand forecast to rise 56 per cent over the next two decades, meeting those emissions objectives will be unattainable if we rely solely on traditional fossil fuels.

Taking care of our Earth is no longer an option – it is a necessity. There is no other alternative planet where life is possible other than Earth. Since the beginning of existence, we have exploited nature by cutting innumerable trees to build infrastructure and killing animals for food. We have extracted minerals, crystals, and gems from the womb of the Earth.

It is and has been our responsibility to protect the planet that we live in but rather we become selfish and do such things that create more pollution in our environment. As the most evolved species of the environment, we should understand that our planet is the only planet that supports life. So when the earth will be in peril, we will not have the option to move to another planet for our safety.

Carpooling: The transport industry is one of the greatest polluters in the world. Worse still, the fossil fuels used to drive this industry causes devastating environmental damage.

"Environmentally friendly," "eco-friendly," and "earth-friendly" are just different ways of saying "not environmentally harmful."
