    Happy last day of ecochallenge. This month I've learned many vegan recipes & 0 waste meals, the impact of mindfulness, and i've stopped using herbicides FOR GOOD :)

    Today i learned the multicoloured (e.g. yellow/black) lady bugs are actually invasive species, are super aggressive and are pushing out red lady bugs (who are really good for pest control) :(

    I just read about this invasive species called Kudzu (in the US). It's a vine that absolutely chokes out all the plant life around it and turns forests into flat barren wastelands made up of only kudzu. I've never been scared of a plant until today.

    Not counting humans, wherever rats go humans follow. Many don't even recognise them as invasive and instead just part of the social fabric.  
    Interesting fact: Because rats follow humans everywhere, it makes it hard to study what their actual impact is.

    I spent 2 years volunteering for an animal charity, and currently support an online OCD support group. In the future, I would like to dedicate time to UK poverty and hunge

    Today I created my own vegan recipe. Presenting Vegan Fajitas:
    1) Sautee some thinly sliced onions and peppers in salt, pepper, chilli powder, cumin, and smoked paprika.
    2) Separately, sear some sliced mushrooms and braise in balsamic vinegar and black pepper.
    3) Mix half a can of beans with cholula to create refried beans.
    4) Pile onto tortillas and toast.
    5) Serve with cold beer
    6) Post to ecochallenge for my daily 5 points

    In the UK any pharmacy accepts prescription meds, doesnt have to be the one you got it from
