Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.
To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

LeWaynne Jungert 5/02/2022 7:51 AMI thought I was doing a pretty good job of being 'green' ... but realized through this challenge that I was truly only doing a few very small things, and there is so much more I can do. I made several additional changes (mostly small things) that I am really excited about and look forward to identifying more ways I can reduce my impact. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & Ecosystems Reduce Single-Use PlasticsWhat plastic or single-use items do you regularly use? What did you substitute or could be substituted?
LeWaynne Jungert 4/14/2022 2:01 PMI often use the plastic bags provided by the grocery stores - I do use more than once because I bring my lunch in them multiple times, and use for cat box cleaning. That said, I commit to taking reusable mesh or fabric bags with me when buying groceries. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEducation & Livelihood Take Emerson’s Sustainability TrainingWhat did you think of the training? What new concepts did you learn?
LeWaynne Jungert 4/14/2022 1:59 PMI hadn't really considered the interconnection of ESG, SDG & CSR before - this training gave me a much better understading of all three and how the relate to each other. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONBasic Needs & Security Calculate Your Water FootprintWhat is one way you will reduce your water use? What is a practice you already have that helps you reduce your water use?
LeWaynne Jungert 4/12/2022 9:06 AMI didn't realize what an enormous impact eating meat & dairy has on the water supply. I will be more cognizant of that in meal planning. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONBasic Needs & Security Reduce Animal Product ConsumptionWhat was the tastiest meatless or vegan meal you ever had or had recently? Did you make it? Can you share a recipe?
LeWaynne Jungert 4/05/2022 10:03 AMA favorite meatless breakfast is cooked oatmeal with walnuts and fruit mixed in - often either banana or blue berries. Healthy and tastes great.
