    Walking around the neighborhood you see lot of things. I saw an iguana in front of my house which is the first in 12 years to see one in our neighborhood.

    What is one invasive species in your region and how does it impact your region's ecosystem?

    One of the most widespread and common invasive species in Florida is the island apple snail (Pomacea maculata), native to South America. They feeds primarily on rooted aquatic plants. The island apple snail reproduces rapidly and established populations can pose a threat to beneficial littoral buffer plants.

    My Watershed is 03 South Atlantic-Gulf Region. We all rely on water and other natural resources to exist which means what we  do on the land impacts the quality and quantity of water and our other natural resources.

    Practicing mindfulness meditation has enable me to think more clearly and be more relax during stressful situations.

    Throughout the day I practice mindfulness breathing and meditation from one of the many Apps I have (Peace, Calm or Headspace. It's good to just sit and be still and listen to nature or just your breathing.

    I not only practice my mindfulness during the day but at night I put on a 8 to 9 hours mindfulness recording with sounds and scripture reading which takes me through the night until I wake up in the morning.

    Today I learned that planting white flowers are good pollination for bees 🐝, butterflies 🦋  and they glow at night for the creepers to find and pollinate.
