REFLECTION QUESTIONBasic Needs & Security VolunteerWhat was one of your most memorable volunteer experiences, and why? What would you like to volunteer for next, and why?
Chris Cini 4/30/2022 4:49 PMVolunteered at the boys and girls club Santa Ana today with some great people, had a blast, made a difference, next up Best Buddie Walk in Liberty Station Tomorrow… -
Chris Cini 4/29/2022 5:31 PMThis challenge was a huge impact on my life, I’ve been on a journey to know more about myself and live a life of love and understanding, and through this event not only have I learned more about myself but the world around me my biggest take away was realizing that so many people need help and it’s within your own community for example I only ever heard about soup kitchen in movies and there is one close to me and it does so much for people in need (mamas kitchen) there belief is that all people have the right to a basic necessity… nutritious food and it hurts to know that there are families out there that struggle to have what some of us if not most take for granted on a daily basis, I feel I’ve been blind to the world around me in a way and now I have so much more perspective all in all I only have this to say Love, live and be kind to those around you, give if you can and I promise you shall receive. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONBasic Needs & Security Take 5-Minute Or Less ShowersWith 5-minute or less showers reducing your water footprint, what do you plan to add next to your water conservation habits?
-
REFLECTION QUESTIONBasic Needs & Security Make Zero-Waste MealsHow did you incorporate using an entire vegetable (skins, peels, tops, and stalks) during one of your meal preps? What's something new you're going to try that is a zero-waste meal practice?
Chris Cini 4/28/2022 4:05 PMMash potatoes with the skins, actually prefer it this way now, my daughter not so much 😏 -

Chris Cini 4/26/2022 6:06 PM😳 average American uses 1800+ gallons of water a day this didn’t make any sense but it includes shopping habits, buying/eating meat and the water it takes to produce that meat etc… crazy, after the assessment I showed I personally use about 1045 gallons a day below the average but again wow that’s insane to me….who knew ?🤔? -
Chris Cini 4/26/2022 5:54 PMWater Justice Movement - definitely recommend… a great read and eye opening did you know over 2 million people living in the United States lack access to clean drinking water and sanitation 😢
