I made it through the whole month of April for EcoChallenge, and the best part is I made it to 1000 points--my personal best!  WOW!!  That feels really good.  Thanks for this opportunity to my Team Captain, Betty, and to each teammate.  We did it!!!

Only 1 more day to go for this EcoChallenge.  It has been an amazing month and I'm so grateful to have been a part of it.   It was not difficult to do the daily challenge.

I'm pretty happy with my ecochallenge today as I accomplished not just being outdoors more than 30 minutes, but also did the 2nd challenge learning about safe disposal of medicines.  It's a win-win!

Found a new way to clean up the yard--separate the pine needles from the leaves and other debris; then put the pine straw in our church butterfly garden.  A win-win for the environment!

I had technical difficulties reporting my EcoChallenge on Tues, Apr 26, however, I had no problem accomplishing them.

It's been a joy and pleasure to participate in the EcoChallenge this month.  Just posting my thoughts each day earns 5 points.  How easy is that?!

Today we celebrated Earth Day Sunday at church. Members of Earth Care Committee provided opportunities for the congregation with a plant exchange, prepared letters to politicians, had samples of bamboo items, and weblinks for folks to checkout becoming vegan.  The preachers message was spot-on, too.  All-in-all, a very good morning!

Today our WPC Earth Care Committee held an Earth Care learning event after church for our church members. We had several tables with hands on materials such as bamboo products, zero waste, vegan menu, recycling ideas as well as preprinted letters to our legislators and a plant exchange.  The children had fun painting ecobricks which will be placed in our butterfly garden.

Comin' down the home stretch with just 7 days left in this ecochallenge.  It has been an amazing and fun challenge this month, and one that I will continue to do.

My joy today is knowing that I am blessed with the birth of my great-granddaughter.  I also enjoyed being outdoors a lot and fulfilled my daily goal!
