I have used induction cooking before and would consider using it. I liked that it is a efficient use of electric energy. It would also be nice to be able to afford one and solar panels, so we would be more efficient. We don't make enough income to apply for those special solar offers. I find it interesting that low income folks are not included.

GEOCACHING! I've been "exploring my area" as an action because I've recently moved and this has been an awesome part of the EcoChallenge for me, but I just remembered Geocaching.com! One of the acronyms on the site is YAPIDKA, which means, "Yet Another Park I Didn't Know About" - it's such an amazing way to explore - people hide caches in areas they think other nature lovers will appreciate - it's a leave-it-better-than-you-found-it org., you can do it with kids (several ways to make a game of it, including trackables)... Oh, if you've never tried it I couldn't recommend it more highly - a stellar way to learn about little pockets of beauty in your own back yard! https://www.geocaching.com/play
