    I learned that gypsy months have come to our region recently.  They defoliate trees by the millions of acres and make them sick.

    I was surprised to find out I'm in the Lake Washington Watershed even though I live so close to Snoqualmie.  I learned that there are over 2400 sites that contribute to this watershed!

    Most pharmacies will dispose of medications for you but I was surprised on the amount of meds that you are advised to flush!  Also, used needles can go in your household trash as long as they are in a container.  Seems dangerous!

    What I found interesting about renters right was reading the statistics for the family that were unable to pay their rent during covid, but also the families or individuals that would default on their mortgages because they could not evict the tenant who could not pay.  Also, the small amount of individuals that own rentals vs. married couples...

    Wow, I've always considered myself fairly water conscious, but the results definitely were humbling!  Not sure how they get the water footprint from the $ amount i spend on dog food, but it doubled our household water consumption!!  I'll be looking more into the specifics.  I know meat is a large factor but want to look into the calculation more.

    While I am not documented, two of my great grandmothers were both the last documented Cherokee tribe members. It feels like a loss to not know their stories, language or culture as part of my own heritage. I suspect it was robbed from them in some manner as well. I think we could learn a lot from the elders of various tribes as they know how to...
