I didn't really think there would be many alternatives to a drought but I've learned that I can plant native and/or drought-tolerant grasses, ground covers, shrubs and trees. They don't need water as frequently and usually will survive a dry period without watering. Install water efficient irrigation devices, such as micro and drip irrigation and soaker hoses.
Local ranches where livestock are grown and grazed to produce meat and other products. They're impacted due to the lack of water access, since other farmers use their wealth power to have more control of the water distribution.
I like a lot to spend time in outdoors and usually made it one time per week, recently i met a little community in my state and was a wonderful experience because i can saw the vegetation change from mountain range to forest
The great basin. There’s very little water because mountain run-off has no outlet, collects in shallow salty lakes, and disappears in the heat of summer.
I volunteer for "Domingo Feliz" (Happy Sunday). It's a free admission event that occurs at a local park and it includes carnival like games for young children. I would love to one day volunteer at an animal shelter.
