  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Education & Livelihood
How do you create new sustainability-related habits or change bad habits?

I’ve found that the best habits were the ones I picked up during ecochallenge’s plastic-free July. I’ve been bringing a large insulated cup with coffee to work and then filling it with iced water in the cafeteria. I’ve seen a few students do the same, and faculty have told me they’d never thought to do it! I never need to go to the vending machine anymore or buy bottled water for work.

What was the tastiest meatless or vegan meal you ever had or had recently? Did you make it? Can you share a recipe?

I made a pesto out of the tops of my homegrown carrots and garden mint. My spouse and I were astounded by the fresh flavor!
