    Anna Maria Waterhouse's avatar
Anna Maria Waterhouse 4/24/2022 2:18 AM
Spending most of your time inside and on screens can lead to a variety of health issues and impact relationships. It has been linked to obesity and depression. Spending several hours at a computer can also increase the risk of stroke or heart attack and looking at a screen for lengthy periods can strain the eyes, disrupt circadian rhythms and sleep patterns.

    SDG 1 No Poverty
    SDG 2 Ending hunger
SDG 6 Access to water, sanitation and hygiene
The global pandemic was the linking factor across these SDG's.
Covid-19 has led to the first rise in extreme poverty in a generation, exacerbating world hunger. 2.37B are without food or unable to eat a regular healthy balanced diet. Billion's also lack access to safe drinking water, sanitation and hygiene. Ensuring everyone has access to these basic amenities is essential for Covid-19 recovery.

Presently living in the Auckland - Manukau Harbour watershed. Maori, indigenous to NZ have a physical and spiritual relationship to water. Water contains a vital life source (mauri) and considered a taonga (treasure) to be protected for future generations as it's vital to the life and health of all living things.

Trees, they're essential for breathwork and survival of ecosystems. Planting native trees helps improve air quality, waterways, stabilises soil and provides both a habitat and food source for native birds, bees and insects. I'm supporting Trees That Count and donating trees to a region in NZ that has recently experienced major flooding.
