REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & EquityWhat was it like to practice mindfulness? If this is a practice for you already, what was something new you understood in practicing during Earth Month?
Diana Tomos 4/29/2022 1:50 AMI started practicing mindfulness a long time ago and it changed my life. This month I realized how important is to take care of ourselves, but we cannot do that completely if we don't take care also of the place we live in. These two are interconnected, so we need to think of both so we can have a happier and healthier life. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEducation & LivelihoodWhat did you think of the training? What new concepts did you learn?
Diana Tomos 4/21/2022 1:48 AMThe training helped me understand so many concepts and also link between every type of impact in this domain. I learned about the different types of sustainability, where we can apply different principles and how sustainability pillars are interconnected. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEconomy & CommunitiesWould you consider using an induction cooking surface? If you have used one before, what do you like about induction cooking?
-
REFLECTION QUESTIONEducation & LivelihoodWhat place in your region are you most excited to visit during your staycation?
Diana Tomos 4/21/2022 1:18 AMApuseni mountains. I would like to go hiking as much as possible this year and enjoy our beautiful country at it's fullest. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & EcosystemsWhat is one way you will reduce your carbon foorprint? What is a practice you already have that helps you reduce your carbon footprint?
Diana Tomos 4/21/2022 1:15 AMI decided to eat less meat and try to use my car only when I don't have any other options. In the last week I used my car only twice, and yesterday I didn't eat meat at all. Proud of myself haha :) -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEconomy & CommunitiesWhy do you think it is important to eat less meat?
Diana Tomos 4/18/2022 6:56 AMIn my opinion, eating less meat is important for our health, but also for reducing the CO2 emissions, since meat production processes are one of the most polluting processes on Earth. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEconomy & CommunitiesWhat was it like to mend your clothing? If you are skilled at mending, what tips do you have for others?
Diana Tomos 4/14/2022 5:57 AMI mended my pocket jacket. It was exciting, but I figured out I have no practical skills related to this haha. I think I would need some tips, so no tips to share for others. :D -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEconomy & CommunitiesDid you discover the Recycling map? Would you recommand to your colleagues this tool. Did you discover something new today?
Diana Tomos 4/06/2022 5:25 AMI discovered the Recycling map and I would most certainly recommend this to my colleagues, since it can be used to identify in a easy way where all recycled materials should be taken. Also, I'm so happy that I learned that there are 5 types of plastic and some of them can be recycled, some of them not, and so many other useful info. So read the article and recycle! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & EquityWhat is easy for you to do when having a constructive conversation and what is challenging? What tips do you have for having a constructive conversation?
Diana Tomos 4/03/2022 11:10 PMI am a very good listener, so it's much easier for me to listen to people than to express my feelings. Also, when the other person is not showing interest, I cannot engage in a constructive conversation. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & EcosystemsWhat plastic or single-use items do you regularly use? What did you substitute or could be substituted?
Diana Tomos 4/01/2022 6:55 AMI use frequently food cases made of plastic. I tried to substitute most of them with ones made of glass.
