    I will reduce my water usage by being mindful of how long the tap runs, doing larger loads of laundry at a time and taking 5 minutes showers

    At the end of this challenge I am realizing that living sustainably must be a robust, durable and fundamental part of you life if you want to do it consistently. We don't make differences by only doing helpful gestures when everything is going well for us, we must also find ways to live sustainably during stressful times as well.

    My daily actions are starting to become more habitual, which is very encouraging! There is a satisfaction that comes with knowing that my habits carry positive impacts on the planet.

    One invasive species in my area is called the Emerald Ash Borer (Agrilus planipennis Fairmaire). It is an insect that has the ability to kill healthy trees.

    Now that the weather is getting warmer and warmer, I am going to start using my bicycle more often for transportation. I am also going to encourage my parents to try and rely less on our home heating system to regulate the temperature of the house if it is already warm outside

    I plan on doing laundry in larger loads, as well as making sure that the dishwasher if fully stacked before starting it. I think those things will help to further reduce my unnecessary water consumption.
