I learned that the local police stations take back expired medicines as well as some drug stores and the local hazmat collection events. I have a back of expired prescription medicines and will be disposing of them as soon as I can get to one of these places.

Every time I pull out a zip lock bag or the Saran Wrap, I look for an alternative such as existing multi-use sealed glass or plastic containers.

I repaired a ripped teddy bear for my grandson. He kept showing me his teddy's boo-boo and was so thrilled when it was fixed. I will see what else I can tackle.

I am going back to using the refillable coffee pod instead of the single-use ones for my morning coffee. It's very easy and reduces the use of everyday plastic containers.
