REFLECTION QUESTIONEconomy & CommunitiesHow can you express your personality, creativity, and values in ways that don't require fast fashion or buying more clothes and accessories?
Stephen Stevenson 4/13/2022 4:03 PMmy wife sews so we could start recycling and repurposing some of the clothes we currently own when they get to the end of their lifespan. For the clothes that are worn out and we can't repurpose we can seek out a place where we can take them to be recycled. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & EcosystemsWhat plastic or single-use items do you regularly use? What did you substitute or could be substituted?
Stephen Stevenson 4/13/2022 3:50 PMThe packaging on products we purchase is the only single-use plastic I can think of that we currently use. We have purchased some nylon bags for produce and have reusable shopping bags and try to purchase products with less packaging but we still can't seem to avoid acquiring plastic on some of our purchases. -
Stephen Stevenson 4/12/2022 5:44 PMI recently retired from a Functional Medicine medical practice and decided to address Climate Change in the next stage of my life. Getting ready to start a Cool Block group and this seems like a nice compliment to that.
