REFLECTION QUESTIONBasic Needs & Security Get Involved in the Water Justice MovementWho is affected by water insecurity in your region? How are they affected? How are you impacted by water insecurity?
Harsh Singh 4/30/2022 7:30 AMThe marginalized communities in our area like those who living in slums and work in informal sector are mostly affected by water insecurity in a way that they do not have proper water connections installed in their households. They depend upon govt/private water tankers that usually cannot fulfill the water needs of all of the affected due to limited supply and in turn they fall prey to vicious network of water mafias or dependence on irregular/impure sources of water. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & Equity Support Indigenous & First Nations CommunitiesWhy is it important to honor native and indigenous peoples and cultures? What have you learned that is important to you? If you identify with or are a member of an indigenous group, how does your community practice sustainability?
Harsh Singh 4/30/2022 7:20 AMIndia is a diverse country and it encompasses various different ethnicities and tribes who have their own unique culture and tradition in every sense. The mutual respect towards each other's cultures is what makes sustenance of different communities possible with a common goal towards community-oriented development. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONBasic Needs & Security Get To Know Your WatershedWhat watershed do you live in presently? What is something interesting or unique about your watershed?
Harsh Singh 4/30/2022 7:15 AMI live in Eastern part of Delhi which falls under Yamuna river's watershed. Due to it being a perennial and young river it carries high amounts of sediments and nutrients which nourishes the surrounding watershed resulting in the northern plains being rich in alluvial soil which is ideal for farming various endemic and exotic crops and in turn aids people in generating a livelihood via it. -

Harsh Singh 4/26/2022 5:24 AMSave Earth. Save Life -
Harsh Singh 4/24/2022 12:46 PMSaving earth is not merely the need of the hour but much more. The extent of degradation caused by humans is becoming irreparable. This is one of the reasons why all the resources are getting highly polluted. The change in climate is also one of the examples that are caused due to severe pollution. Moreover, animals, birds are getting extinct and the worlds around us are slowly approaching the end. Nothing could be scarier than this. -
