REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & EquityDo you have any tips for others on finding locations that accept products for safe disposal?
Noelle Schwartz 4/27/2022 9:13 AMAsk your local pharmacy for help in disposing of any unused or old medication before throwing it in the trash! They're always glad to take back medications and dispose of them properly, or point you in the right direction for the same purposes. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & EcosystemsHow can spending more time outdoors enhance your sense of place? Was there a new place in your region that was exciting to learn about and visit?
Noelle Schwartz 4/27/2022 9:10 AMSpending time outdoors helps me to realize the community and land that I live on and it brings the eco-conscious side of me into the present space. I have heard a lot about Shikellemy and finally took some time to go out and explore this past weekend! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONBasic Needs & SecurityWhat was the tastiest meatless or vegan meal you ever had or had recently? Did you make it? Can you share a recipe?
Noelle Schwartz 4/27/2022 9:08 AMI don't have a recipe because it happens to be a guessing game every time, but I have a vegan chili recipe that is absolutely delicious -
REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & EcosystemsWhy is it important to take care of pollinators? Do you have a favorite pollinator?
Noelle Schwartz 4/27/2022 9:03 AMPollinators are the organism that makes the world go round. without them we would have a hard time finding many resources like crops and fruits. My favorite pollinator is the honey bee! -

REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & EquityWhat are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time inside and on screens?
Noelle Schwartz 4/04/2022 1:13 PMSpending so much time on screens becomes a problem when it turns into ignorance of the world around us. We become oblivious of our impacts on the Earth and those organisms around us. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & EcosystemsWhat plastic or single-use items do you regularly use? What did you substitute or could be substituted?
Noelle Schwartz 4/04/2022 1:11 PMWater bottles are the bane of my existence. buying and then also putting to use, a reusable water bottle reduces an immense amount of plastic for me per day.
