REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & EcosystemsWhat plastic or single-use items do you regularly use? What did you substitute or could be substituted?
Scott Royael 4/25/2022 12:00 PMOut youngest daughter turned 4 today, and I had the unfortunate experience of removing the packaging for a set of dolls she received from Grandma. Not only did it come close pushing me to the brink of patience trying to open it, the amount of plastic in the packaging was alarming! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONBasic Needs & SecurityWhat surprised you about the two produce lists? How will you use these lists for your grocery shopping? Have you used these lists before?
Scott Royael 4/14/2022 12:54 PMI have seen the dirty dozen list before, but it was nice to see the clean 15 along side it. I have come to appreciate the complexity of some of the choices I make for me and my family. Sometimes the bigger challenge is how to communicate with my larger family. My mother and law loves feeding my children Strawberries (which are at the top of the dirty dozen list). -
Scott Royael 4/08/2022 7:42 AMI realized that taking shorter showers isn't much of a challenge for me....however I've shifted my attention to my, almost, teenage daughter, which has been a much greater challenge! -
Scott Royael 4/01/2022 6:21 AMApril 1st is here! I am excited to learn some new things, connect with my team mates and hopefully establish some new habits related to the U.N. Sustainable Development goals.
