  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Climate & Ecosystems
What plastic or single-use items do you regularly use? What did you substitute or could be substituted?

Plastic water bottles. We would use them and take them to the store in exchange for food money. As a substitute i bought a reusable flask that i fill up regularly with water instead of buying cases of single use plastic water bottles.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Basic Needs & Security
How did you incorporate using an entire vegetable (skins, peels, tops, and stalks) during one of your meal preps? What's something new you're going to try that is a zero-waste meal practice?

So many potatoes were involved in my breakfast meal. Since i peeled the potatoes, I had an abundance of skins, as part as my zero-waste practice, I used these skins as part of fertilizer, since they're fully biodegradable

With art you can practice sustainability, since art can be made out of essentially anything, as well as bring attention to the importance of sustainability
