REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & EquityWhat was it like to practice mindfulness? If this is a practice for you already, what was something new you understood in practicing during Earth Month?
Ian Renaud 4/04/2022 1:58 PMIt's as simple as 5 deep breaths, focusing on nothing but your breath... everyone has time for that.
-
REFLECTION QUESTIONEducation & LivelihoodHow does practicing a work-life balance create a more sustainable life for you? How might it contribute to sustainability more broadly?
Ian Renaud 4/04/2022 1:57 PMIt's a marathon not a sprint - taking 10 minutes to myself a few times a day leaves me charged up for the long run.
Less career burnout at a societal scale means more productive and happier workers! Happier society = healthier society. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEconomy & CommunitiesWhat one thing will you do right away to reduce your waste? What is the second thing you will do?
-
REFLECTION QUESTIONBasic Needs & SecurityWhat was the tastiest meatless or vegan meal you ever had or had recently? Did you make it? Can you share a recipe?
Ian Renaud 4/04/2022 1:55 PMMy go-to is a brown rice pilaf with lentils. High protein count, filling and pretty cheap. Sautee your choice of veggies and serve with falafel. Add hummus, sriracha, harissa, whatever sauce floats your boat.
