Keri Price 4/12/2022 10:31 AMMy son has agreed is going to join me on Earth Day to do a clean-up at a local park. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & EquityWhat was it like to practice mindfulness? If this is a practice for you already, what was something new you understood in practicing during Earth Month?
Keri Price 4/12/2022 9:57 AMI have been practicing mindfulness for several years. It has helped reduce my anxiety. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEconomy & CommunitiesWhat was it like to mend your clothing? If you are skilled at mending, what tips do you have for others?
Keri Price 4/09/2022 8:53 AMMy ability to mend clothing is limited to sewing on buttons. I wish I have paid to more attention in my home economics classes in school. -
Keri Price 4/09/2022 8:45 AMPracticing Mindfulness has been a wonderful way to curb anxiety in my life. I recommend the practice highly. -
Keri Price 4/07/2022 5:20 PMI don't remember when the last time I had to clean any dead bugs off of my windshield. Flying insects have been drastically reduced. That's scary! -
Keri Price 4/06/2022 10:23 AMJust finished the Earth Watch Climate Master Class Series. It was extremely informative. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONBasic Needs & SecurityWhat surprised you about the two produce lists? How will you use these lists for your grocery shopping? Have you used these lists before?
Keri Price 4/05/2022 5:25 PMI have seen the Dirty Dozen list in the past. They are all my favorite vegetables. I have been avoiding many of those foods from the grocery store and buy them at Farmer's Market. I have no idea if that food is just regular vegetables or if they are locally sourced organic foods. -
Keri Price 4/05/2022 4:59 PMI am elated their are people in governments around the world who care about climate change. Getting big business onboard will be problematic. Regulations by governments will need to be developed and enforce. Being part of the insurance industry, we have the power to charge Fossil Fuel industry higher premiums to offset our costs to repair damage caused by climate change. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONBasic Needs & SecurityWhat is one way you will reduce your water use? What is a practice you already have that helps you reduce your water use?
Keri Price 4/05/2022 3:49 PMThe big factors for my water use are food production and shipping. I will cut back on my purchases and opt for having items shipped in one box and not multiple separate shipments. Reducing shower times has helped the entire family reduce our personal water consumption. -
Keri Price 4/04/2022 12:38 AMI have worked on two of my one-time actions this weekend. I am excited to start working on more this next week.
