Community Compassion/Save a Life: Adopt a pet from a local shelter, give a "forever" home to a stray, spay/neuter/release a feral furry
It has been said that a culture's spiritual maturity can be seen in how it treats the Earth, "animals" and other vulnerables. Environmental quality of life is multi level. Needless suffering is an energy that stresses us and our environment in many ways. There are so many homeless pets. Many have been displaced by wildfires and other disasters, war, and high rents/pet rental fees that are forcing loving families to give up their beloved furries to afford a place to live...amongst other situations. The human homeless are another population that needs our help and offers much insight to the realities of homeless pets and how we can offer love, basic needs support, and healing to both populations. Can you commit to: 1- adopting a homeless fur baby 2- feeding a hungry one(s) 3- addressing overpopulation by seeking out spay/neuter/vaccinate resources? Did you know there are many organizations who offer all of this for free if you're willing to bring them in?
