It's amazing what impact we've been able to produce over the last few weeks, I'm glad I agreed to take on this eco-challenge. :-)

After learning more about investing, how can you increase positive impacts and decrease negative impacts?

    Maria Muresan's avatar
    Maria Muresan 4/26/2022 1:03 AM
Positive impacts can be generated by investing in both emerging and developed markets and by targeting a range of returns from below market to market rate. Impact investments are meant to address the world’s most pressing challenges in sectors such as sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, conservation, etc.

"Compacted in a landfill and cut off of oxygen, decomposing food emits methane —a greenhouse gas that's about 30 times more potent than carbon dioxide—over a 20-year-period," tells Anne-Marie Bonneau, author of The Zero-Waste Chef: Plant-Forward Recipes and Tips for a Sustainable Kitchen and Planet. According to the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO)".
