REFLECTION QUESTIONBasic Needs & SecurityHow did you incorporate using an entire vegetable (skins, peels, tops, and stalks) during one of your meal preps? What's something new you're going to try that is a zero-waste meal practice?
Meagan Morabito 4/12/2022 12:04 PMI used ALL of the collard greens when cooking them for a meal. Everything from the stalks and leaves was used in the dish. It's a wonderful southern dish that goes well with fried chicken sandwiches! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & EquityWhat are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time inside and on screens?
Meagan Morabito 4/11/2022 5:23 AMSpending too much time inside can create a level of depression. Seeing the sun and getting fresh air is an easy step to put a smile on your face. The more you get comfortable staying indoors, the harder it is to get outside! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONBasic Needs & SecurityWhat was the tastiest meatless or vegan meal you ever had or had recently? Did you make it? Can you share a recipe?
Meagan Morabito 4/11/2022 5:22 AMIt's so easy to avoid meat in the morning! Eggs, bagels, toast, cereal, fruit, smoothies are all great non-meat options! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & EquityWhat is easy for you to do when having a constructive conversation and what is challenging? What tips do you have for having a constructive conversation?
Meagan Morabito 4/11/2022 5:21 AMIt's always a good habit to take a second to think about your response, before speaking to people! It's so easy to get frustrated and short with people. Deep breaths :) -
REFLECTION QUESTIONBasic Needs & SecurityWith 5-minute or less showers reducing your water footprint, what do you plan to add next to your water conservation habits?
Meagan Morabito 4/08/2022 9:36 AMSince working from home, I only wash my hair maybe twice a week. It cuts way back on time bathing and It's better for your hair too! Opt for shampoo/conditioner and soap bars over traditional bottles and that helps to avoid waste as well. -
Meagan Morabito 4/07/2022 6:28 AMSince working from home it is much easier to avoid unecessary waste when it comes to meals! No need for plastic packaging or disposable cups.
