REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & EquityWhat are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time inside and on screens?
Roxane Millette 4/16/2022 12:18 AMThe online learning platform the college was down today and I spent the day outside gardening. I was happier than a typical day working at my computer. I didn't snack as much as usual and went to bed ealy and slept like a baby.
The implications of a society that spends most of its time inside and on screen is on our long term health outcomes because we are too sedentary and have sleep issues. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & EcosystemsWhat ecological or xeriscape landscaping practices do you have? How has your landscape changed from these practices?
Roxane Millette 4/09/2022 9:26 PMThe xeriscape gardens in the article are beautiful and colorful. A lot of research and know how is required. I will start replacing some lawn for ground cover this summer. Last summer I noticed where the lawn got scorched by the month of July. That's the spot that I will try to xeriscape.-
Melissa Tomecz 4/10/2022 1:28 PMThere is someone in Pierrefonds who has a beautiful landscape in the front of his house. It looks like the house is straight out of Arizona. He has rocks, decorative stones, driftwood, clay pots and a few succulents. It's a sight to see! I don't even think he has grass in the front.

Roxane Millette 4/01/2022 8:53 PMI do not see the 3 custom challenges anymore. I saw them when I signed up, but waited for the challenge to start before taking up the challenges a) info session on mushrooms, b) signing SDG accord and c) climate emergency books to read. -
Melissa Tomecz 4/01/2022 2:53 PMAre you able to see the custom challenges now? Because I just logged in and two custom challenges are missing. They were all available before the challenge actually began. Now they seem to be missing. -
