Hailey Meyer 4/24/2022 12:59 PMToday, I grabbed one of my old scooters and decided to explore East Campus, since I never really go anywhere besides my normal route. I decided to explore in the back of my area instead of the front and I am so happy I did. I had no clue there was a dog park in my specific area. There was even tons of different basketball courts, baseball fields, and tons of walking paths I had never seen before. I even got to see a bobcat! It was a great exploring day overall and I wish I had explored earlier so I could have enjoyed the area more!-
Corina Lieu 4/26/2022 9:50 AMI’ve explored the area too! I live near a volleyball court and playing there is a fun way to be outside for a while with some friends. Most of the sport areas are empty so I highly recommend visiting!

Hailey Meyer 4/17/2022 3:33 PMI am posting for Friday, April 8th. On Friday, it was a really warm day outside in Monterey and I had decided to go to the beach. With the past couple of weeks, I have been realizing everything is going really fast in my personal life as well as my school life. I am realizing in a few weeks I am going to have to leave Monterey and go back home to Dublin, which is why I have been finding ways to go to the beach. I spent a few hours at the beach not just because it was relaxing, but I felt like I hadn't been getting out of the apartment enough which ended up making me feel stuck. The beach always find ways to calm down, relax, and quiet any of my lingering thoughts. I support anyone to go outside, especially to the beach, or any area you haven't been before, and just be present in the moment and remember there is more to life than your assignments.-
CHARISY MATHIS 4/18/2022 11:15 AMThe beach has always been my happy/peace place. It's so relaxing and a great way to recharge. Sometimes we get caught up with our school and personal lives that we forget about the beautiful nature that's around us that can give us peace. I have to remind myself to slow down and go with the flow :) I hope you get to spend as much time as you can on the beach before you get home. Sending positive vibes your way.

Hailey Meyer 4/17/2022 3:25 PMThe past few days, I have been trying to find ways to relax and find ways to decrease some of the stress and anxiety I have been feeling. Today, I decided to go on a walk and practice some yoga. The yoga really helped me find peace within myself and gave me a very relaxing mental state afterwards. The walk was also good for me because I was able to just breath in the fresh air and was able to get out of my apartment. This eco challenge is helping remind myself that I need to find more inner peace!-
Alyssa Phillips 4/30/2022 6:23 PMHi Hailey,
I love yoga! It is a great way to practice mindfulness and exercise at the same time. Finding inner peace is a daily struggle, but it is so important to be able to check in with yourself.
