REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & EquityDo you have any tips for others on finding locations that accept products for safe disposal?
Courtney Markle 4/13/2022 2:25 PMUsually I keep my paint in my garage and wait forever for it to dry out before I dump it, but now I just learned about the paint recycling program so I'll be using that instead (Also clears more space in my garage). -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEconomy & CommunitiesWhat was it like to mend your clothing? If you are skilled at mending, what tips do you have for others?
Courtney Markle 4/12/2022 8:17 AMI often will mend my son's pants and he has a tendency to blow the knees out quite often. The best tip I have is to buy double-knee pants for toddlers and young kids, it may eventually rip but it means I have to mend less often. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & EcosystemsWhat is one way you will reduce your carbon foorprint? What is a practice you already have that helps you reduce your carbon footprint?
Courtney Markle 4/12/2022 8:15 AMI currently no longer drive to work which has reduced my carbon footprint significantly. I recently started cutting meat out of our family diet once a week and may up that to twice in order to cut our carbon footprint more. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONBasic Needs & SecurityWhat is one way you will reduce your water use? What is a practice you already have that helps you reduce your water use?
Courtney Markle 4/12/2022 8:08 AMI plan to look into low-flow bathroom faucets to help reduce my water footprint. We already have low-flow shower heads and sink faucets.-
