For my last day of my daily eco challenge I decided to spend it at the park, to really get in touch with nature. Today was hot, so it was perfect time to get some ice cream. Though the challenge may be over, I will try my very best to continue this routine as much as I can. Sometimes people need a break from the stress of work and relax outside. If there is anything I have learned from this challenge is that its quite therapeutic. There is something about being outside around nature that soothing to mind. I hope you all have had similar experiences with your challenges.

Another day filled with strong winds as I sat in the yard feeling the cold air brushing past me. I am surprised that no tree has been knocked down yet. I wonder what we can expect from these winds.  I can't believe how quickly the weeks have gone by. This challenge has encouraged me to be more outgoing, and appreciate things that most people would probably ignore on a daily basis. We are coming to a close to this eco challenge. It doesn't even feel that long ago, when I first started. I hope everyone else's challenges have been successful.

I took a stroll around the of my house. Today was an especially a good day for. The air felt so cool, its that kind of air you expect to feel next the shore. Its the quality of air that we should strive to keep. We can't let emissions pollute the air we need for survival.

Another challenge of my was to spend some to learn about some of the challenges of affordable housing and renters rights. I believe that anybody should be able to afford housing. It can be tough, especially for those in low income. People shouldn't have to struggle to get a roof over their head. People work hard everyday and they have difficulties to buy housing, it just isn't right. As I read in California's housing rights, it protects against unlawful discrimination when it comes to housing. Yet people with low income are getting treated like this. Perhaps making some low-income homes could be a solutions. How to go about doing it, that's going to be the real test. Orange County seems to be tackling this issue already providing people with low-incomes affordable housing.

I finally was able to complete one of my challenges which was mending a piece of clothing. I decided to fix one my uncle's shirt since it was torn. I wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. It requires some patience as well as a steady hand. In the end I had some fun doing it. I'm happy I was able to fix the shirt. Sorry if the pictures are huge.

Today went to the park again. Throughout the whole week it has been consistently windy. Today especially has been very windy. There is telling what the strong wind might knock over. Park was relatively empty today, so it was easier to focus on the nature around. The trees have yet to show signs of fall approaching so I look forward for when that happens. Trees really stand out their leaves start to change.

I went to the park today. It was surprisingly a bit hot today along with some wind. I saw a large crow swoop down grab some food scraps off the floor. It just small events that we don't always pay attention to when were to busy looking at the screen. Never hurts to take the time observe life around

Today's weather is pretty normal. It has been quite windy these past few days. I decided to just relax out in the porch toady and get some fresh air. One thing I always notice when go outside is that a bunch flies are buzzing around. Perhaps if they stay out in the open the current from the wind my push them away. I hope everyone else's challenges are going well.

Today I went for walk around town, just to get some air. I stare at those big parking lot, and one thing that always bug is the lack of tree's. Reforestation is an important part fighting climate change. Reforestation can help in filtering the air, especially in a place where cars are always coming and going. We have to bring nature back into these areas.

Hi Martin, I think your account of walking around and looking at the trees is something that a lot of us do not look too much into what they stand for. You are definitely speaking the truth when you say that reforestation is a very important part of fighting climate change.

Today weather was anything but happy. So being outside today was gloomy. Very cloudy today, weather was cold. You see the rays of sun trying to get the thick cloud. I was practically waiting for the rainfall to happen any moment. Good thing about this is plants and tree get some much needed water. It also hit me, if we want to save more water, why don't more people collect rain water? Hope everyone else's day went great.
