Zulema Ledesma 4/13/2022 6:49 PMOver the weekend, I ate out at a restaurant with my family and refused a plastic straw, my 3 yr old daughter noticed and asked me why I wasn’t using a straw. I took the opportunity to teach her about how single use plastics affect our oceans and marine animals. This evening while eating out again, I witnessed my daughter refuse her straw and said she doesn’t want animals in the ocean to eat the plastic from the straws. It’s so important to teach our children to make better choices and to be a good example to them! #proudmom -
