I will sign up with YellowTin to develop a personal electrification and clean energy roadmap.

I will watch this 30 minute free course through the UN Global Compact Academy to learn more about the SDGs and how to take action.

I will read the article "Improving Water Conservation Through an Equity Lens" on WSP Insights.

I will pledge to go vegetarian or vegan for a week with support from Julie Sinistore for this week with resources. The goal of this action is to reduce the environmental and social impacts of food choices and gain awareness about these impacts. If you would like to participate, please email [email protected] The pledge will run the week of April 25th and will feature a presentation by Julie about the environmental and social impacts of food on April 27th, at 1pm Pacific/4pm Eastern.

I will do one or more of the following actions in my yard, or volunteer in my community: plant indigenous plants, landscape with water-efficient plants, add mulching, replace a lawn, and/or use eco-friendly fertilizers.

Each day, I will spend 20 minutes exploring a new area around my neighborhood (e.g., park, water body, nearby trail, community garden, green space, etc.).

At least 30% of crops and 90% of flowering plants rely on pollinators to produce fruit. I will spend 60 minutes researching which plants support local pollinators and plant some in my area.

WSP has signed the Structural Engineering Institute 2050 Commitment (SE 2050) to reduce embodied carbon in structural systems. Read WSP's newly published embodied carbon action plan (ECAP).
