REFLECTION QUESTIONEducation & LivelihoodWhat was a linking factor across this group of SDGs?
Boroka Kerekes 4/29/2022 8:25 AMI think education is impacted by all. There are quite a few painful numbers in those statistics.. would be very interested how these changed over the last year.
Education should be accessible to all. I'm not saying, that without education there is no civilization, but it does help one to create, communicate, invent, implement. -
Boroka Kerekes 4/29/2022 12:26 AM"I think the biggest thing a customer can understand, especially when shopping small and local, is that clothes and shoes are super expensive to produce when doing it sustainably. Take our Guillermo Bravo socks for example. They’re $25 a pair, to some peoples’ dismay. But the facts behind it are we are using 100% cotton, US made. We are working with producers who are paying their teams a living wage."
Desi Caswell, Director of Operations and Social Impact for the sneaker and apparel company Guillermo Bravo and the shoe store CORRE
Totally agree! Hand made is more expensive, but it's unique and the creator gets paid fairly for their input -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEconomy & CommunitiesWhat was a linking factor across this group of SDGs?
Boroka Kerekes 4/29/2022 12:17 AMEnsuring access - building infrastructure- ensure sustainable consumption of all types of energy, especially renewable energy. Once we have it, we have to be mindful of how we use it -

REFLECTION QUESTIONEconomy & CommunitiesDid you discover the Recycling map? Would you recommand to your colleagues this tool. Did you discover something new today?
Boroka Kerekes 4/28/2022 11:59 PMYes, this recycling map is quite impressing and very very useful! Thank you! I am collecting the plastic bottle caps that I take to Emerson Cluj office time to time and put them in the boxes there; but today I've learnt more about batteries recycling and collection -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEconomy & CommunitiesWhat are the climate and disaster risks in your region?
Boroka Kerekes 4/28/2022 9:00 AMProbably it's flood mostly. Heavy rains all of the sudden, with increasing amount of water, that the surface can't really handle anymore. Also the increased temperatures in the summer causing fire..
