Daljeet Kaur 4/30/2022 11:25 AMHow many emails do you receive in a day? An email sent in a day uses electricity. What if you receive 100 emails in a day? You can save the environment by cleaning your inbox. Spam emails and emails with large attachments contribute to the increase of carbon footprint. You can delete unnecessary emails if they are no longer needed. -

Daljeet Kaur 4/28/2022 9:32 AMReduce, Reuse & Recycle. Reduce your waste, reuse your waste, and recycle your waste. Follow the 3 R's to do your bit in conserving the environment. -
Daljeet Kaur 4/27/2022 11:05 AMOn Earth, there are humans, animals, plants, water bodies, land, mountains, dirt, and so on. Our planet is the only place on the globe where living things can survive. As a result, it becomes increasingly critical and crucial to save our planet. -
Daljeet Kaur 4/25/2022 3:16 PMEarth is a unique planet as it is the only planet that sustains life. Life is possible on Earth because of many reasons, and the most important among them is the availability of water and oxygen. Earth is a part of the family of the Sun. It belongs to the Solar System. Earth, along with seven other planets, revolves around the Sun. -
Daljeet Kaur 4/24/2022 12:37 PMWe should try to educate other people about the alarming situation of Earth and guide them on how they can contribute to save the Earth. For this, various campaigns or group activities can be performed in public places to raise awareness. Also, we should plant more and more trees in our neighborhood. We should adopt and promote an eco-friendly lifestyle -

REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & Equity Learn About Gender DiversityWhy is equity for gender diverse individuals important for a just and sustainable society?
Daljeet Kaur 4/23/2022 1:33 PMEquity is the fair treatment, access, opportunity, and advancement for all people, while at the same time striving to identify and eliminate barriers that have prevented the full participation of some groups. Improving equity involves increasing justice and fairness within the procedures and processes of institutions or systems, as well as in their distribution of resources. Tackling equity issues requires an understanding of the root causes of outcome disparities within our society. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & Equity Learn About Participation and RepresentationWhat are some of the barriers that exist to women and girl's equitable participation or representation in your community? Do you experience these barriers?
Daljeet Kaur 4/23/2022 1:31 PMGender equality and women’s empowerment are matters of fundamental human rights and prerequisites to meeting sustainable development goals around the world.
A gender gap is a gender-based inequality; it is any disparity in treatment or situation between women and men, often rooted in social, cultural and legal norms and customs. Gender gaps create barriers to effective sustainable development and livelihoods by limiting or restricting women’s access to resources and decision-making opportunities. In some cases, violence can be used against women as a means of control over resources and opportunities, reinforcing power imbalances and gender inequality. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEducation & Livelihood Volunteer to TutorWhat do you enjoy about supporting others who are learning?
Daljeet Kaur 4/23/2022 1:29 PMHelping others: it’s a fundamental part of humanity, bonding together and helping a fellow man or woman. In times of tragedy, the stories of those who help others are inspiring, such as helping the nation recover from national disasters and terrorist attacks. Some men and women even devote their lives to helping others, from the police force that protects our cities, to the fire departments who run into burning buildings, to the service men and women who risk their lives for the common good.
