Spending time outdoors and tracking my purchases were challenges that I did not have much difficulty completing. It was a bit hard motivating myself to get outside when it was raining all day. I had not anticipated having such a difficult time practicing mindfulness and work life balance. I think that is eye-opener and something to be improved upon!

What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time inside and on screens?

Cultures that spend more time inside and on screens are less connected with nature and with the web of life. Every living organism is connected to one another and the environment; cultures who spend more time inside may be less likely to recognize this interdependent system and more likely to view themselves/humans as outside of it.
