  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health & Equity
What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time inside and on screens?

Not fulfilling all the potential of your mind and body without any or lack of immersion in the natural world and outdoor environment.  Forest bathing - a walk in the woods sometimes - feeds and restores your mind, body and soul for the potential good that you can do in your life to leave the world better than you found it.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

What was it like to practice mindfulness? If this is a practice for you already, what was something new you understood in practicing during Earth Month?

Meditation for creativity to do something like a painting or writing a poem in absence of connection to media,

Turn off water from running while I am doing something like washing dishes and only turn it on when I need to rinse something I've washed.

    LISTEN

    bombarded with
    squandered lives
    families in flight
    fires and lives extinguished
    destruction of lies

    pause to retreat with
    the solace of sound

    avian trills
    sweet morning bells
    whispers of wind
    rushing waves
    trickling brooks

    sounds that tickle the soul
    and let it sing
