We are members of a local farm share that starts in late spring and goes through early fall. We recently subscribed to a compost service that makes compost out of our food waste and napkins. I will look into our electric provider to see how much they use renewable energy and to see if other providers are better.

I attended my town's sustainability committee meeting. The committee members gave a presentation on how we can reach the goal of having a net-zero carbon footprint. I was blown away by the thoroughness of their research and by their multi-faceted approach. I also learned some things I didn't know before such as the fact that natural gas emits methane.

By researching the particular investments, you can learn more about the aim of the investment to see if it matches your goals. You can also learn about the average returns over the past time periods to see if it is a good investment.

Hello. I'm Diane, and I have been involved in earth-related activities since I was in high school and worked on the first recycling drive in my city. I joined because I enjoy spending time in nature - hiking and visiting our beautiful national parks. It makes me very sad the see the harm that humans have done (and continue doing) to the earth, and I want my grandson's generation to be able to see the same natural beauty that I see. I do some things to help the earth now but know that I could be doing more. I joined because I am hoping to learn more about the activities I can do to help the earth and am also interesting in learning more about my carbon footprint.
