Stink Bugs....They are everywhere. Not happy when they are in my home.
I imagine they feed on leaves etc that the good bugs feed on, depriving them of food. Not to mention the damage they do to fruit trees and crops.

I knew they are a nuisance, didn’t realize the damage they cause!

Over the last few days, I have organized an informational booth along with voter registration at the Earth Day Festival in Summit Park to be held April 23. 8 volunteers will work the shifts and share materials and register voters.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

Why is it important to take care of pollinators? Do you have a favorite pollinator?

In order for a field of corn to produce ears of corn, we need pollinators! Pollinators help feed the world.  Butterflies are my favorite.  I have a small pollinator garden but will be expanding after some construction in our back yard.  I have made my list!

I had my weekly garbage down to 1/2 of a bag.  It has creeped up over the last year.  I need to focus on that.  I do recycle and compost and make good choices with my grocery purchases BUT I can be more focused.

I bring my wing bags to the grocery store- and often when shopping elsewhere I forgo the bag(& tell them they should ask if the customer if they want a bag)
