  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Education & Livelihood
What did you think of the training? What new concepts did you learn?

I learn what SDG's and ERG's mean and how they are setup in a company or area and how they are followed. Also the history of the sustainability concept is quote interesting.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health & Equity
What are some of the barriers that exist to women and girl's equitable participation or representation in your community? Do you experience these barriers?

    Dana Hanceanu's avatar
    Dana Hanceanu 4/29/2022 3:10 AM
I think they are companies which are still preferring man instead women, when it comes to hiring. Luckily I haven't experienced such barriers , but I am sure they are enough in a lot of areas.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Economy & Communities
What was it like to mend your clothing? If you are skilled at mending, what tips do you have for others?

    Dana Hanceanu's avatar
    Dana Hanceanu 4/28/2022 11:35 PM
I did that before especially for my kids clothes, I used patches to mend their jackets and is not hard at all. For women's clothes one can make nice embroideries around the gap or cover it with patches or textile labels that you like.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Climate & Ecosystems
What is one way you will reduce your carbon foorprint? What is a practice you already have that helps you reduce your carbon footprint?

    Dana Hanceanu's avatar
    Dana Hanceanu 4/28/2022 10:56 AM
I allready switched to an electricity provider which is 100% green(water based) and I intend to search for a water  provider as green as possible.
I also started reduce the meat consumption in my household (a meatless day) and hopefully I will manage to have many days/week without meat.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Economy & Communities
Why do you think it is important to eat less meat?

    Dana Hanceanu's avatar
    Dana Hanceanu 4/15/2022 3:02 AM
Because it has one of the biggest co2 prints in food and because it is healthier for the body to balance the total quantity of meet and vegetable source food.
It was noticed that people having a balanced food diet are healthier than ones that have meat on a daily bases.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health & Equity
What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time inside and on screens?

    Dana Hanceanu's avatar
    Dana Hanceanu 4/11/2022 9:52 PM
I noticed that especially the kids don't feel the need to bond with other kids when they are outside (due to so much time spent in front of PC) and they tend to mix up the reality they see in the games/movies with the real world.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Basic Needs & Security
How did you incorporate using an entire vegetable (skins, peels, tops, and stalks) during one of your meal preps? What's something new you're going to try that is a zero-waste meal practice?

    Dana Hanceanu's avatar
    Dana Hanceanu 4/11/2022 7:49 AM
I use the whole leek when cooking, as all its parts are good and since I can buy it in piece from the grocery store I can take it without this being packed.
I will try to prepare vegetable soup or chips out of the peels and vegetable tops. The other shells like eggshells will go for composting that I will use latter for flowers.
