    “Food equity” encompasses the adverse effects of both the production and distribution of food that marginalized communities face. On the food production side, equity concerns include: Wages and working conditions of people producing food at every step along the food chain—from farm to restaurant and grocery store.

    Xeriscaping is the process of landscaping, or gardening, that reduces or eliminates the need for irrigation. Rockery plants are best fit to create a small corner in your yard that does not require much water.

    The best way to dispose of most types of unused or expired medicines is to drop off the medicine at a drugstores. In Cluj there are some Dona drugstores accept to take the expired medicines.

    I always like mending clothes. Most basic garment mending is sewing a button, very easy but the trick is to find the missing button or a similar one.

    The global fashion industry emits a hefty amount of greenhouse gases per year, thus contributing massively and actively to global warming. One of the reasons is that the vast majority of our beloved clothes are petroleum-based and made from fossil fuels, including polyester, acrylic & nylon (check your clothing labels, you may be surprised).

    For years, most consumer companies paid relatively scant attention to whether their suppliers managed the social and environmental impact of their business activities. This is beginning to change, as consumer companies have come to appreciate the extent to which their supply chains contribute to global sustainability challenges. Creating a sustainable supply chain can make a difference over the next decade and beyond.
