On the food production side, equity concerns include: Wages and working conditions of people producing food at every step along the food chain—from farm to restaurant and grocery store. -

One of the reasons is that the vast majority of our beloved clothes are petroleum-based and made from fossil fuels, including polyester, acrylic & nylon (check your clothing labels, you may be surprised). -

This is beginning to change, as consumer companies have come to appreciate the extent to which their supply chains contribute to global sustainability challenges. Creating a sustainable supply chain can make a difference over the next decade and beyond. -
