  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Economy & Communities
What was it like to mend your clothing? If you are skilled at mending, what tips do you have for others?

I don't know how skilled I am, but I hate wasting anything.  Very easy to repair a small rip and a hem.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time inside and on screens?

I think it keeps us in touch with the environment and hopefully will make the environment more of a priority for us all.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

How can spending more time outdoors enhance your sense of place? Was there a new place in your region that was exciting to learn about and visit?

There are so many beautiful little parks in my city; seems like every time you take a different road, you encounter one.  Looking forward to finding my new favorite space in the city.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

How did you incorporate using an entire vegetable (skins, peels, tops, and stalks) during one of your meal preps? What's something new you're going to try that is a zero-waste meal practice?

This is a tough one.  Does it count if I save the skins, peels, tops and stalks to use for soup?  That's really the only idea I have for using the entire veggie.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

What plastic or single-use items do you regularly use? What did you substitute or could be substituted?

I have substituted canned soft drinks for those in plastic bottles.
